Though my sculpture was fun (and not without it's challenges - the wind took out one of my guitars on the 2nd day) I had a blast meeting some wonderful people who would come by daily to see and watch the progress of the sculpture. Especially neat was "debating" with the musically talented spectators. "There's no "D" in an Em chord!" one lady would yell at me. I love it. (Em7 anyone?)

Twenty-seven hours in the making over the course of four days. The lone carved character on the left is holding a book called "Learn Guitar in 5000 Easy Steps". Fender guitars and a Fender amp are featured up on top, with a musical scroll sweeping down the left side and down into the beach. I had several humming the tune. How about you?
