Relay for Life - Melbourne High School

I was privileged to be able to contribute a sculpture to The American Cancer Society's "Relay For Life", a team event to fight cancer.

The table-top sculpture was built in Wuesthoff Health System's designated area. Right next to Mel High's track field. When the stadium lights were turned out, only the luminaries along the track were lit.

Volunteers, family, and friends showed their support by always having at least one team member walking on the track.

My sculpture was dedicated to the memory of my Mother-in-law, Barbara Jean Wilcox. Her long battle with breast cancer ended just as 2004's hurricane Charlie slammed our area. We miss you, Mom....See you soon.    1-Thessalonians 4:13
